There’s a difference between being on a TV show and being on a food competition show. FNS is about wanting have your own cooking show to share your recipes, not about getting your face and name out there. I’m sure there were tons of other people who legitimately want a cooking show for the sole purpose of cooking, not just to be on TV. She took the spot of someone who deserved it, in my opinion.
